Seven Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) have been introduced across West Sussex to date. These form an important part of the County Council’s approach to managing parking.
All CPZs, including on-street parking restrictions, such as parking bays, yellow lines and loading bays that currently apply in West Sussex, can be viewed on our Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) map.
Controlled Parking Zone Policy
The County Council has recently introduced a new CPZ Policy, provided below. This sets out rules for the consideration, implementation, review and removal of CPZs. It outlines how decisions will be made by the County Council on whether particular proposals should be progressed and also incorporates a programme for CPZ development.
