Date	Event
Monday 5 October 2026	Starting school and junior school applications open for September 2027. Opportunity for parents and carers to start visiting schools.
Friday 15 January 2027	Closing date for all primary, infant and junior school applications at 11.59pm. We strongly recommend you apply online. Do not delay making your application until the last minute in case of technical issues. If you choose to apply on a paper form, you must make sure the form arrives before this date. Make sure you give us your email address if you have one.
Friday 12 February 2027	Closing date for out of time applications made after the application deadline. Closing date for receipt of evidence about a request to change preferences due to a genuine unforeseeable reason. Closing date for receipt of evidence for house movers.
Friday 16 April 2027	Offer day - we will notify on-time online applicants of their school offer by email or you can log in to your account from 7am to get your offer. If you gave an email address in your application, we will email the result on this date. Applicants who do not have an email address will receive a letter by second class post.
Monday 17 May 2027 onwards	We will process late applications received on or after 13 February 2027 and make offers. We will establish waiting lists and offer places if they become available.
May to August 2027	Independent appeal panels hear appeals lodged by parents and carers.
September 2027	New term starts.
