Information about the Committee.

What the Border to Coast Joint Committee does

The Border to Coast Joint Committee comprises one elected representative from each of the 18 partner funds within the Border to Coast Pensions Partnership.

The Committee provides oversight of the partnership, which has been established to manage investments for the partner funds, and acts as a forum for participating funds to collaborate on matters relating to investment pooling.

It receives updates on Border to Coast's activities, performance and strategic direction, helping to ensure that the interests of partner funds are represented within the governance structure of the pool.

Alongside West Sussex Pension Fund, the partnership funds are:

  • Bedfordshire
  • Cambridgeshire
  • Cumbria
  • Durham
  • East Riding
  • East Sussex
  • Essex
  • Hertfordshire
  • Kent
  • Lincolnshire
  • Northamptonshire
  • North Yorkshire
  • South Yorkshire
  • Surrey
  • Teeside
  • Tyne and Wear
  • Warwickshire

More information is available on the Kent County Council website.

The West Sussex Pension Fund continues to participate in the ACCESS Joint Committee whilst these legacy pooling arrangements are wound down. More information is available on the Kent County Council website.
