1 Overview
County Local Forums were established in September 2021 to provide residents with the opportunity to participate in discussions on issues specific to their area, as well as take part in question-and-answer sessions with their local County Councillors.
There were seven County Local Forums in West Sussex that were trialled for one year. Following an evaluation of the success of the forums by the Governance Committee, the County Council determined that the County Local Forums be ceased, with members supported to use other channels to engage with their residents.
