Pedestrian crossings
We receive numerous requests to install pedestrian crossings, but we can only afford to build a very small number each year.
Requests are considered by applying for a community highways scheme, which decides if the site is a priority.

A junction will only be considered for signals if there is a serious accident history or it would be a good way of managing large vehicle flows.
