Businesses can access a variety of funding opportunities from a range of sources.
You can find information about funding opportunities available for businesses on the Business West Sussex website.
The district and borough councils often have funding available to support local businesses. Check your local council’s website for updates on the latest availability:

- Crawley Borough Council
- Horsham District Council
- Mid Sussex District Council
Grant funding to support an increase in the supply of early years and childcare places may be available at times in response to national government reforms.
Thriving in Education Grants (early years)
Early years education and childcare providers in West Sussex, including childminders, can apply for Thriving in Education Grants.
The funding supports practical, evidence based work to improve children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing in early years settings.
The application form is included in the Thriving in Education Small Grants Programme guidance (page 8). The guidance explains eligibility, funding criteria and how to apply and should be read before submitting an application.
