Are you LGBTQIA+ or thinking about your identity? Would you like to meet other young people and help make a difference in your community?
We're starting a new LGBTQIA+ group for 16 to 25-year-olds in West Sussex and we'd like you to help shape it from the start.
Tell us what matters to you. Share your experiences and help improve local services and support for LGBTQIA+ young people.
By getting involved, you can:
- meet new people
- take part in fun activities
- build your confidence
- learn new skills
- speak up for your community
- help improve local services and support
The group is free. You'll help decide the group's name, activities and future projects.
We are still planning where and when the group will meet. If you are interested, get in touch.
Who can join?
You can join if you:
- are aged 16 to 25
- identify as LGBTQIA+
- are questioning your identity
- live in West Sussex
- want to share your views and make a difference
You do not need any experience in volunteering, campaigning or youth participation. Everyone is welcome. We will work together to create a safe, inclusive and supportive space.
By joining the group, you can:
- help shape services for LGBTQIA+ young people
- influence decisions made by local organisations
- learn new skills and gain experience
- build confidence and learn how to speak up for yourself
- meet other LGBTQIA+ young people from across West Sussex
- help make positive changes in your community
If you’re interested but under 16, we would still love to hear from you. Contact us to register your interest in a future group for younger people.
