If you are aged 18 or older you can find out how to get support on our Help with homelessness page.
If you are aged 16 or 17 and you're at risk of homelessness or have nowhere to sleep tonight you can:
- access support at your local FindItOut Centre
- get advice from your local district or borough council
- contact the Youth Homelessness Prevention Team.
When you phone, an adviser will ask you about your current situation. They will also need to talk to your family or carers. The adviser will support you in finding somewhere safe to sleep that night as well as working with you and your family/carers to find a long-term solution to your housing situation.
