Housing support for 16 and 17 year olds

Information on where and how to get support if you’re 16-17 and at risk of being homeless.

If you are 16 or 17 and are at risk of homelessness, or have nowhere to sleep tonight, you can access support at your local FindItOut Centre, get advice from your local district or borough council or contact one of our Youth Homelessness Prevention Team.

When you phone, an adviser will ask you about your current situation and will also need to talk to your family or carers. The adviser will support you in finding somewhere safe to sleep that night as well as working with you and your family/carers to find a long term solution to your housing situation.
