OpenDigital project in Chichester

The Chichester OpenDigital project is a partnership between West Sussex County Council and Chichester District Council. The project is improving mobile coverage in key locations and public spaces across the city.

We're upgrading the technology and equipment that support mobile services now and in the future.

This includes:

• stronger, more reliable mobile coverage
• improved access to 4G and future 5G services
• infrastructure that can support new technologies as they develop
• planned works that help reduce disruption in the city centre

To support this work, we're installing discreet, multi-purpose street columns that can host telecommunications equipment.
