Developing Individual Learning Plans (also known as Individual Support Plans)
Guidance to assist schools in using the Individual Learning Plan/Individual Support Plan (ILP/ISP) template for parent carers.
This template helps schools and parents work together to share information about a child. It gives parents a simple way to share their views and feedback with the school.
The template supports families and schools to build a full picture of a child or young person. By working together, they can better understand the child's strengths, needs and experiences.
The template also includes a section called "Hopes and Dreams". This gives families a chance to share their hopes for their child, as well as any hopes and dreams the child has talked about themselves.
