When we are dealing with ice and snow all our resources are needed to keep the main routes open. These routes are called the Winter Service Network.
If a road is not included in the Winter Service Network, and you think it should be, complete our online form.
You will need to send us the name and location of the road and outline how it meets the priority criteria for gritting, as set out in out Winter Service Plan.
All requests are reviewed when the gritting season has ended and we are preparing for the following winter. Gritting routes cannot be amended mid-season.
