- review and update your assessment regularly to reflect current fire risks

- have clear policies and procedures for barbecues and campfires
- consider banning barbecues and campfires when conditions increase the risk of fire spreading
- make sure visitors understand the rules and safety measures in place
- monitor and manage barbecues and campfires to reduce the risk of fire
