Community Safety Partnerships

In each district and borough, there are statutory partnerships called Community Safety Partnerships.

What are Community Safety Partnerships (CSPs)?

In each district and borough, there are statutory partnerships called Community Safety Partnerships. They look at reducing:

  • crime and the fear of crime
  • anti-social behaviour
  • alcohol and drug misuse
  • re-offending.

Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC)

The Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner holds the Community Safety Grant, funded by the Home Office, which is allocated to Community Safety Partnerships (CSPs) across Sussex. The collective priorities of all the CSPs have also helped to shape theĀ Police and Crime Plan.
