1 Overview
The Family Information Service (FIS) directory has two sections:
- activities or support services for parents and their families
- childcare and early years education providers
These pages are for organisations providing activities or support services.
If you are a registered childcare or early education provider, see our information for childcare providers pages.
Who can add their activity or service
You can add your service if you offer activities or support for parents, families, children, or young people in West Sussex. This includes:
- voluntary and community groups
- private or independent organisations
- council run services
It is free to list your service.
2 Before you sign up
Check if your service is already on the directory. You can do this by searching the Family Information Service directory.
If you find your service but the information needs to change, see guidance about updating your service details.
Services that are suitable for those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
The SEND Local Offer website provides information and support for children and young people with SEND aged 0 to 25 and their families. It has its own directory of services that meet those needs. Find it on the Local Offer services page.
You may offer services that are suitable for all families, including those with SEND. Submitting your service for the Family Information Service (FIS) directory does not automatically add it to the SEND Local Offer services directory.
If your service is suitable for those with and without SEND and you would like to ask for a listing in both directories, follow the guidance on the sign up page.
