This course focuses on the mental and physical health benefits of working with animals, plants and nature.
You’ll learn the:
- importance of wellbeing activities
- connection between physical health and mental wellbeing
- benefits of spending time outdoors
Transport is available, and learners will have the opportunity to volunteer with the Crimsham Farm team after completing the course.
Duration: 6 weeks.

Tuppenny Barn
Improve your wellbeing and confidence through hands-on gardening skills.
This course helps you learn how to grow flowers and vegetables while supporting your mental health and personal development.
It’s for individuals:
- experiencing social isolation
- with low confidence or out of work
- with mild to moderate mental health challenges
Duration: 8 weeks.
Location and style: Face to face - Southbourne, near Chichester.
