Who the Adult Learning Service are and what we do.
West Sussex County Council’s Adult Learning Service offers learning opportunities that help residents build skills and confidence for their future.
Courses are funded by the Department for Education (DfE). If you are eligible, you can access courses for free.
With a focus on improving the lives and outcomes for individuals, including families and communities, we offer opportunities for you to learn for:
- work
- life
- supporting families
- health and wellbeing
We deliver courses in:
- English for speakers of other languages (ESOL)
- Adults with learning disabilities (ALD)
- Family learning
- 16 to 19 study programme - internal referral only
We also offer face-to-face and online courses and training programmes through delivery partners across West Sussex, including:
In addition, we work with organisations across the county to deliver bespoke community-based learning programmes.
