Results
All results of the West Sussex County Council election for 2026 have now been announced.
70 councillors have been elected:
- Reform UK has 23 councillors
- The Liberal Democrats have 23 councillors
- The Conservative Party has 11 councillors
- The Green Party has 7 councillors
- The Labour Party has 5 councillors
- One councillor is from the Local Alliance
No one political party has more than half the seats and so the outcome was no overall control.
Update: A new Liberal Democrat-led cross-party alliance has been formed to run West Sussex County Council.
