West Sussex Services for Education is the ‘go to’ place for WSCC education skills training. The website contains a searchable training and support offer.

Information can also be found in the online training catalogue.

To provide a clearer understanding of SEND and Inclusion CPD training pathways, provided by WSCC Education and Skills teams, an overview has been produced.

Other organisations also offer training and development which may be relevant to schools and settings. A range of external providers are shown below.

Early Help

A range of training including including Early Years and Childcare Training Programme.

Special Needs Officer (SNO) training

Bespoke training including online annual reviews, EHNCA and SEND funding modules.

The Meeds SEND Alliance

An outreach service run out of a special school in the Mid Sussex area offering training (inc. virtual) for all areas of SEND.
