Lecture theatre

A midsize modern lecture theatre with tiered seating. Worthing Library lecture theatre comes furnished and equipped with a projector, lectern, and screen for presenting.

The kitchenette adjacent to the lecture theatre can also be made available.

Seats up to 63 people.

Our rates are:

• community use (this is a discounted rate offered to local community 'not-for-profit' groups and registered charities for activities such as classes, drop-ins and surgeries): £25 per hour
• business use (this rate is particularly targeted at supporting new and emerging small businesses): £50 per hour
• commercial use (this rate applies to all other sessions and also includes where admission is charged and for any type of selling/marketing activity): £100 per hour

The venue has:

• free Wi-Fi
• plug sockets
• partially accessible
• use of kitchenette including fridge and hot water (you will need to bring your own supplies)
• lectern with internet access via own laptop, linked to projector
• flipchart available on request
• hearing loop available

The venue has:

• ramp access to library entrance with automatic doors
• lift access to the lecture theatre located on the lower ground floor
• an accessible toilet on the lower ground floor
• a hearing loop available by request
• three accessible parking bays for blue badge holders outside the library - accessible parking spaces are also available in nearby public car parks
