The County Council has established a vacancy for a second co-opted independent member for its Regulation, Audit and Accounts Committee to provide independent and impartial advice to the Committee, particularly in its work on audit and accounts.
Applicants will need to show a capacity for independent thinking and sound judgement and are likely to have experience as an accountant or auditor or as an audit committee member or non-executive director in a large or complex organisation.
