We request that users do not arrive before the centre is open.

It is not permitted to park outside the centre and walk in.

    Pedestrian access

Local residents who live close enough to walk to this site will be accommodated wherever possible. There may however be times when, for operational reasons, pedestrian access may not be allowed.

Pedestrians are requested, for their own safety, to use the centre at quiet times. Report to staff on arrival, who will advise on where you can deposit your waste.

Use the designated pedestrian routes, even if you are using a wheelbarrow or other wheeled container.

    Cyclist access

Bicycles are not to be ridden at the centre - cyclists must dismount and enter as a pedestrian.

    Access for disabled visitors

If you have a disability issue and require assistance, please ask a member of staff when you arrive. They will take your items and transfer them to the correct recycling containers for you if required.

The Worthing centre has designated disabled parking bays, plus drop kerbs. The bays are identified by the standard symbol, with hatching on both sides for wider access in and out of vehicles.
