As a long-term Shared Lives carer, you will be paid every 4 weeks.

If you are a short break or day share Shared Lives carer, you will fill in booking forms. The Shared Lives team will use these forms to arrange your payments.

Day share pay rates are:

  • Day share: £53.86 per day
  • Higher support needs payment for day share and short breaks: £15.40 extra per session
  • Day share management fee: £5.99 per day
