1 Become a partner/sponsor
West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (WSFRS) is highly recognised and respected throughout West Sussex and beyond. However, we are facing considerable financial challenges. As a result, we are actively trying to create solutions that can support the future of valued initiatives, but our efforts will not be possible, or reach maximum effectiveness, without support.
We work extremely hard to keep people, businesses and visitors to our county safe through a range of activities, in addition to providing an emergency response.
It is our aim to continue to provide an extensive range of services despite the challenging financial climate. This means that we need to find smarter ways of working and includes making partnership and sponsorship opportunities available.
We are keen to work with partners and/or sponsors who want to support our work and are proud to have a relationship with our brand.

Support our UKRO Rescue Team and make a life-saving difference.
West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (WSFRS) is excited to announce our entry into the 2025 United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO) Festival of Rescue.
While national statistics show a decrease in rescue-related emergencies, the complexity and severity of these incidents continue to rise. As a result, fire and rescue services across the UK are constantly challenged to stay prepared for any situation.
We invite sponsors and partners to support our team in this prestigious national competition. Your backing will play a vital role in preparing our firefighters for this event while helping us deliver life-saving services to our communities.
What is UKRO?
The United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO) has been advancing rescue techniques for over 30 years.
Founded by professionals in the fire, rescue, and medical sectors, UKRO is dedicated to sharing best practices and improving rescue capabilities across the UK and internationally.
UKRO provides essential opportunities for fire and rescue services, including:
- annual training events
- competitions
- skills development

- access to cutting-edge digital tools
These opportunities align with our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP), ensuring that we continue to develop our leadership, staff knowledge and practical skills. By supporting our participation in UKRO, you are directly contributing to our ability to meet CRMP goals and provide the highest level of service to our community.
Our UKRO team
