Partnership and strategic framework
The Digital Inclusion, Access and Safety (DIAS) Partnership brings together organisations across West Sussex. It is open to any organisation concerned about people who may be digitally excluded.
It also plays a key role in delivering the commitments set out in the DIAS framework document below.
Its work focuses on improving access to devices and data, building digital skills and confidence, and supporting residents to stay safe when using the internet.
By working collaboratively across public services, voluntary and community groups, the DIAS Partnership aims to tackle the digital divide and make sure that everyone in West Sussex can benefit from the opportunities digital technology offers.
Digital Poverty Alliance's Charter for Digital Inclusion
West Sussex County Council has signed the Digital Poverty Alliance's Charter for Digital Inclusion, reinforcing our commitment to helping residents access the benefits of being online.
The charter recognises organisations that are taking action to reduce digital exclusion by improving access to devices, internet connectivity and digital skills support.
We are already working with partners across West Sussex through the Digital Inclusion and Access and Safety (DIAS) partnership to help more people get online. This includes providing access to devices, supporting residents to build digital skills and making services more accessible.
By signing the charter, we are strengthening our commitment to reducing digital inequalities and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to access essential online services, information and support.
