1 Overview
Our Careers Team can provide free information, advice and guidance if you:
- live in West Sussex
- are aged 16-24 and are not in employment, education or training (over 16 hours a week)
- are not receiving support already from a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) work coach.
We can meet you at a local FindItOut centre, Family Hub or library. We can also visit you at home, as long as there is an adult present.
We can help you to:
- assess what you want to do next
- recognise your skills, strengths and ambitions
- find out about opportunities, including education, apprenticeship, employment, traineeship, further training and volunteering
- develop a plan to help you achieve your goals and keep on track with that plan
- create a CV, practice interviews, search for jobs and complete job or benefit applications
- speak on your behalf by being an advocate, if appropriate.

The Careers Team are required to check what all school and college leavers aged 16-25 are now doing for education, employment or training.
We may call, text or write to you to obtain this information, but you can tell us anytime by completing the online form below.
You can also complete the form to update us if you have had a change to your education, employment or training placement since we last heard from you.
