Put the 'Brakes' on bullying

Bullying is a harmful and scary experience. Brakes can help stop bullying and improve your self-confidence through working with others.

Put the brakes on bullying is a group work programme for young people aged 11–13. The course, run after school over 6 weeks and lasting for 2 hours, will help you to understand bullying and improve your self-confidence.

The course aims to:

  • reduce the harmful effects of bullying
  • provide tools to keep you safe
  • develop your self-esteem, confidence and mental toughness
  • break the cycle of bullying.
