Start your career in education with practical skills and recognised qualifications. These level 1 courses provide the foundations for working in school settings, including classroom and kitchen environments.

Runway Training

Preparing to work in schools, topics include:

  • safeguarding and child protection
  • promoting equality and inclusion
  • supporting children’s wellbeing
  • understanding the importance of healthy eating and nutrition in schools

Hospitality and catering for schools, topics include:

  • preparing and serving nutritious meals in line with food safety regulations
  • supporting the health and wellbeing of learners

Level: Level 1.

Duration: 5 days
