Education and Learning Strategy

At West Sussex County Council, we want every young person to secure the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to achieve their ambitions.

The Education and Learning Strategy 2023-25 sets out how we will address inequality in education and level up the quality of provision. Please read the executive summary below.

The Education and Learning Strategy will coordinate resources in West Sussex to help children, young people and adult learners through learning and employment.

It includes from early years to post 16 provision and adult community education.

Seven strategic themes set out our work and link to the whole Children, Young People and Learning department and Our Council Plan 2021-25. These themes also align with national policies and expectations.
