Worthing Fire Station will be throwing open its doors for the annual open day, held in conjunction with Broadwater Carnival.
Taking place on Saturday 18 July from 10am, the free community event will span Broadwater Green and Worthing Fire Station, offering a packed programme of entertainment, live demonstrations and activities for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of performances, including Morris dancing and belly dancing, as well as exciting live fire and rescue demonstrations. There will also be a variety of stalls to browse and a grand raffle, with a top prize of £200.
The event aims to raise money for local charities and community groups including Sussex Disability Football League, TS Vanguard, Broadwater Support Hub and the Fire Fighters Charity.
Worthing Fire Station Manager, Mark Cooper, said: “We have been helping to run this huge joint community event for many years now, and each year we are able to raise some much-needed funds for local charities.
“The carnival and open day are at the heart of the Worthing community, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming residents from across the town and the surrounding areas.
“With something for everyone on offer, we’d encourage people to come along and be part of this brilliant community day.”
