Children and their families across West Sussex are receiving their primary and junior places.
West Sussex County Council’s admissions team handled 8,309 starting school applications this year.
99% will be offered a place at one of their three preference schools. 91.8% (7,631 applicants) have been offered their first preference school.
1,294 applications were received for children transferring from infant to junior school, all of whom will be offered their first preference school.
All offers for places are being sent by email today and should arrive by 5pm.
Families who are not offered one of their three preference places are encouraged to contact the council’s admissions team, who can discuss options and provide support.
