Inclusive summer holiday activities

Events and activities around the county for young people with SEND, their families and friends.

You may need to pay for some of these events. Our Short Breaks providers run some events, and local organisations and venues run others.

We include these events for information only. We do not recommend any particular provider. Before booking, check that the event meets your child's needs, has suitable safety policies in place and offers good value for money. You can read our advice on safe clubs for children.

West Sussex County Council Short Breaks for children and young people

Short Breaks are available for children and young people aged up to 18 who live in West Sussex and receive either:

  • the middle or higher rate care component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
  • the standard or enhanced rate of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

You may also be eligible if your child has similar support needs.

There is high demand for Short Breaks during the summer holidays, so some providers may have limited places available.
