Energy Price Guarantee
The Government's Energy Price Guarantee will reduce the unit cost of electricity and gas so that a typical household in Great Britain pays, on average, around £2,500 a year on their energy bill for the next six months, from 1 October 2022.
The Government has also announced the reopening of the Warm Home Discount scheme which will provide a discount of £150 off electricity bills for three million low-income households this winter. Most households will receive the discount automatically.
Further information is available on GOV.UK, which includes an online tool to check what discounts you may be eligible for.
