Complete our short survey and help us improve recycling in West Sussex

As part of our mission to help reduce waste and increase recycling, we’re running a short survey to gather information on recycling knowledge in West Sussex. It just takes a few minutes and your answers will help us to help you in the future.

Results from this survey will directly feed into our next communications campaign spanning across the whole of West Sussex.

Reduce your waste this Fathers Day

Don't forget Sunday 18 June is Father's Day. If you're celebrating, remember Father’s Day doesn’t need to cost the earth or create waste!

Why not treat Dad to a lasting gift such as sponsorship of his favourite animal or an experience day he will never forget?

If you have received gifts and cards this year, remember to recycle cards and envelopes once you've enjoyed them and to follow the scrunch test to see if you're wrapping paper is recyclable - scrunch the wrapping paper in your hand. If it holds its shape then it can be recycled in your recycling bin at home. If it springs back then it needs to go in your general waste bin.

Thank you to our waste prevention volunteers!

It's Volunteer Week and we want to take this opportunity to say a massive Thank you to our fantastic team of volunteers.

Throughout West Sussex, we have a team of passionate waste and recycling volunteers and advisers. They attend public and private events to promote waste prevention and are keen to answer questions on the county's recycling provision and waste prevention. Why not pop by one of the events below and say hi!
