Fork and Future
In partnership with UK Harvest, we are hosting cooking courses for 7 pre-selected community groups to fight against food waste, all whilst saving money.
What is Fork and Future?
Fork and Future aims to simplify the idea of reusing food that has already been cooked, helping households reduce edible food waste across West Sussex.
Through a 4-session educational course, information will include:
- sharing knowledge around nutritional content of food
- food choices and preparation skills
- food waste reduction skills in the home
- fuel and food economy
- food and financial waste reduction
- practical high nutrition low-cost information sharing
- myth-busting around best before dates

Bringing people together to collect rescued food, preparing ingredients and taking part and enjoying the social pleasure of sharing food!
