How to dispose of wallpaper.

You can place wallpaper in your general household waste or take it to your local Recycling Centre (RC).

  • Put in your general waste bin

    Wallpaper can't be recycled, so please place it in your general waste bin.

    Use the general household waste container.

    All our recycling centres accept wallpaper.

  • Further information

    • Wallpaper cannot go in your recycling bin as there are different types of wallpaper and not all of them are made from just paper.
    • There may be residue of adhesives, paint or plaster on the paper, along with special coatings that mean it cannot be recycled.
