How to recycle laughing gas canisters and dispensers.

Laughing gas canisters and dispensers are explosive and should not be disposed of at home. Take canisters and bottles up to 15kg in size to your local recycling centre (RC).

    Ask staff at the recycling centre, who will ensure safe disposal.

    All our recycling centres accept laughing gas canisters and bottles.

  • Safety information

    Laughing gas canisters cannot be placed in your recycling or general waste bin at home as they are explosive.

  • Further information

    • Laughing gas canisters taken to your local RC will be taken to an external facility for recycling. The steel will be used to create new items.
    • Laughing gas dispensers will be returned to the issuing company and refilled for further use.
