Use the special container for waste engine oil. Bring oil to the centre in an appropriate container and follow guidance from staff.

Which RC accept this waste
All our recycling centres accept engine oil (up to 25 litres), excluding our mobile sites in Selsey and The Witterings.

Safety information
It is illegal to pour engine oil into drains or waterways. Oil contaminates water, including drinking water, damages marine life and harms the bacteria which break down sewage.
