How to dispose of crisp packets.

You can place these in your general household waste or take them to your local recycling centre (RC).

    • Unsure about your packaging? Do the scrunch test to find out! Scrunch the packet up in your hand. If it holds its shape it is metallic foil and can be recycled in your recycling bin. If it springs back, it contains plastic and needs to go in your general waste bin.
    • Crisp packets can also be donated to Terracycle collections, check for your local Terracycle collection point.
