The West Sussex Virtual School
West Sussex Virtual School is a website that can offer guidance for kinship carers. It champions the education of local children who are cared for, or who have experience of care.
The virtual school has a Headteacher who leads a team of professionals. They use their range of expertise to deliver support for our children and young people.
The team believes that education is the foundation for improving lives. It champions the right of every child to a high-quality education experience. The West Sussex Virtual School is an attachment-aware, trauma-responsive institution (AATR). As such, the team promotes an understanding of attachment and trauma on educational outcomes.
