Course summary
This course includes trainer-led presentation, group discussions and practical activities to give a comprehensive understanding of your role and responsibilities both in preparation for and in the event of a fire incident as a fire warden.

Learning outcomes
You will learn:
- to understand how fires start and spread
- recognition of common causes of fire and how to mitigate
- to identify the different types of extinguishers and their uses
- an understanding of the fire warden's role in your workplace
- practical experience of using firefighting equipment

Duration
The course is a 3 hour session with a practical exercise.

The maximum number of attendees, when held at your premises, is 15.

The cost of this course is:
- £145 per head when attending at a fire station
- £645 when held at your premises
