Fire prevention and mitigation at waste and resource management facilities

The course is designed to provide knowledge and understanding of fire prevention and mitigation at these complex process facilities. The course focuses on waste and resource management facilities receiving, processing and storing combustible waste materials.

What facilities does this course cover?

This course covers facilities such as:
- household waste recycling sites
- waste transfer stations
- material recover facilities
These facilities store and process waste materials including:
- wood
- paper
- plastic
- tyres
- metals
- scrap vehicles
Who is this course for?

This course is for employees with responsibility for fire safety and prevention at waste facilities, including:
- managers
- supervisors
- advisors and consultants
