Fire prevention and mitigation at waste and resource management facilities

The course is designed to provide knowledge and understanding of fire prevention and mitigation at these complex process facilities.

What facilities does this course cover?

The course focuses on waste and resource management facilities receiving, processing, and storing combustible waste materials, including:
- recycling centres
- waste transfer stations
- material recover facilities
- other facilities storing and processing materials such as wood, paper, plastic, tyres, metals, and end-of-life vehicles
Who is this course for?

This course is for employees with responsibility for fire safety and prevention at waste facilities, including:
- managers
- supervisors
- advisors
- consultants
Location

The course takes place at in the training centre at Platinum House, Horsham Fire Station.
Duration

This is a 1 day course.
Number of attendees

The maximum number of attendees is 20.

The cost of this course is £425 per head. This includes lunch and refreshments.
