Current membership fees £30 per year adults, £15 for under 16s, £45 for families, £4 visitors. Phone or email for latest subscriptions. Members attend monthly meetings at which we usually have a speaker who is either an astronomy professional or a member of another society with a particular field of expertise. We have an observatory with equipment such as a Celestron 11. We also have equipment available for loan, and experienced users to help guide you in its use. Articles of astronomical interest are published on our Facebook page or are sent out by email. We run occasional outings to places of interest to astronomers, take part in exhibitions and run public events to observe meteors and eclipses.
