Early years leadership and supervision

Developed in collaboration with early years leaders, this course is designed to equip early years practitioners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to move confidently into a more senior position.

The programme covers a range of topics including:

  • effective communication
  • leadership and management styles
  • managing difficult conversations
  • reflective practice
  • a basic introduction to setting finances
  • supporting key persons using mentoring and coaching to develop staff
