What to expect

At your local fire station open day you will get to see firefighters carry out live demonstrations of the work they do. This may be in the form of a road traffic collision demonstration where you will see crews remove the roof and perform the rescue a casualty, a reconstruction of a chip pan fire or firefighters may simulate a fire at the top of the drill tower.
