Grow Digital West Sussex
Grow Digital West Sussex is a series of free, carefully curated workshops, facilitated networking and 1-2-1 mentoring that is travelling across West Sussex between September 2023 to April 2024 to support local businesses on all things digital. It will provide opportunities for local businesses to improve their digital capabilities, connect with other businesses and receive 1-2-1 support.
Funded by the West Sussex Councils and delivered by Freedom Works, Wired Sussex, Creative Bloom and Shake It Up Creative, the content of this programme has been carefully designed to help you increase sales, reduce costs and reach new customers.

Recover and Rise
The Recover and Rise: Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) Digital Accelerator programme was delivered by local digital experts to help SMEs utilise digital tools and gain expert knowledge and advice in how best to grow their online presence and attract and retain new customers.
The programme was jointly funded by West Sussex County Council and the district and borough councils. It was delivered by local experts who designed webinars to help businesses learn more about the benefits of transforming their processes and activities, including:
- developing a website
- improving your website
- digital marketing
- search engine optimisation
- using digital tools to transform payroll, accounts and stock functions
- understanding how digital can help you innovate and access new markets.

4G Mobile Business Broadband Voucher Scheme
If you are a West Sussex business suffering from slow or non-existent broadband and you want a strong and reliable internet connection to support your daily activities and promote your business’ innovation and growth, a 4G Mobile Broadband solution may prove a suitable alternative.
We are supporting businesses to get better connected using our own ‘4G Mobile Broadband Voucher Scheme’ to combat slow broadband speeds. The scheme will cover the costs of a practical test (to determine if your property would benefit from this solution) and the subsequent installation of the new 4G solution, including all necessary equipment.
An eligible property must be a registered business address (which can include home-based businesses) with existing speeds of 10mbps or less. Applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis if existing speeds are slightly faster.
