What is the Grow Digital West Sussex programme?
Grow Digital West Sussex ran between September 2023 and March 2024 and was developed to help your business strengthen its digital toolset.
A series of workshops took place across the county, where businesses were able to walk away with actionable insights, new business connections and key takeaways to help grow their business.
Each of the themed days included a mixture of expert in-person workshops, local food, networking opportunities and access to one-to-one mentoring.

Programme overview
Grow Digital West Sussex was a series of free, carefully curated workshops, facilitated networking and 1-2-1 mentoring that travelled across West Sussex between September 2023 to April 2024.
It supported local businesses on all things digital and provided opportunities for local businesses to improve their digital capabilities, connect with other businesses and receive 1-2-1 support.
Each set of workshops focused on four distinct, essential topics:
- make money
- reduce costs
- save time
- be visible
These workshops were all delivered by local experts, with first-hand experience of running their own businesses.
The topics covered by each workshop aimed to provide attendees with practical solutions to business challenges.
Supported by the West Sussex councils and delivered by Freedom Works, Creative Bloom and Shake It Up Creative, the content of this programme was carefully designed based on insights from previous business support programmes. They also spoke to a range of local businesses about what support they require in this area.
