Growth Deals

Find out about local growth deals being delivered through partnerships between the county council and the district and borough councils.

Each five-year, tailor-made 'growth deal' identifies specific priority projects to bring local improvements for West Sussex residents, businesses and visitors that:

  • are delivered - through 'growth programmes' - as part of a partnership approach between the public and private sectors
  • promote local economic growth, including new homes and new jobs
  • attract and bring together investment
  • provide a clear set of formal working principles for how we will work together.

Growth Deals are now in place with all districts and boroughs in the county.

Adur and Worthing Growth Deal

This programme of regeneration projects funded by partners will unlock opportunities for new homes and employment in Adur and Worthing.

Arun Growth Deal

Delivering new homes and jobs in Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and across the Arun District.

Chichester Growth Deal

This programme will unlock opportunities for new homes and employment in Chichester.

Crawley Growth Programme

This programme will ensure key infrastructure is in place in and around Crawley.

Horsham Growth Deal

Delivering shared priorities for WSCC and HDC, providing new homes and jobs and seeking to secure new funds.

Mid Sussex Growth Deal

This deal will see significant investment in the town, with approximately 5,000 new homes and two business parks.
