Shoreham Harbour Joint Area Action Plan

Find out how the regeneration plan affects the movement of minerals and waste.

To help deliver regeneration and associated infrastructure proposed at Shoreham Harbour, Shoreham Harbour Regeneration Partnership is producing a Joint Area Action Plan. The partnership consists of the local planning authorities of Adur District Council, Brighton & Hove City Council and West Sussex County Council, working with Shoreham Port Authority.

The planned regeneration may impact on the safeguarded mineral wharves identified in the adopted Mineral Local Plan. We are working to ensure they are adequately safeguarded in line with national planning policy and other relevant considerations. The safeguarding of wharves in the harbour for the movement of minerals and waste materials will be addressed in the new Minerals Local Plan.

The latest news, consultations and other supporting evidence are available on Adur & Worthing Council's website.
